Getting to Hampton Manor is simple… Established on the ILS Runway 33 (110.1MHz) for Birmingham and at 1.5 DME you need 1/2 scale left deflection, at this point you are overhead the venue.
For those not planning to arrive via parachute the following maybe more useful…
Arriving By Air
Birmingham airport is very close and is well connected by a certain orange airline. For those going private, Signature Aviation is the handling agent.
Arriving By Car
Postcode for the sat-nav: B92 0EN
Once in the village of Hampton in Arden, and on High Street, turn onto Shadowbrook Lane (the junction between High St & Shadowbrook Ln is at the war memorial). Once on Shadowbrook Lane, leaving the village, there is a sharp 90 degree left bend, approx. 150m after the bend is the entrance to Hampton Manor on the left hand side.
Parking is available on the estate.
Arriving On Foot
If you are staying in the village or arriving by train from Hampton-in-Arden train station then there are two ways onto the Hampton Manor estate:
- Follow the car instructions
- Off High Street there is a gatehouse cottage with a drive marked “deliveries.” Simply walk up here… NB the drive is on the right hand side, just before a row of shops (on the left hand side), as you walk up the hill.
Arriving By Rail
Firstly, commiserations.
Hampton-In-Arden Station: Hampton Manor is a short (500m) walk from the station.
Birmingham International: Hampton Manor is about 8 minutes away by taxi, or a 3 minute train transfer will get you to Hampton-In-Arden before a 500m stroll to get you to the Manor.
For London travellers: trains depart from London Euston direct to Birmingham International (see above), otherwise a change at Coventry will get you to Hampton-In-Arden.
Taxis
Uber – Everyone’s favourite taxi app.
If you prefer an old skool arrangement, please contact Hampton Manor and ask them to arrange a taxi for you.
